A tidy kit for the tools you actually use
MyDailyKit is a growing collection of 52 free online tools — for developers, writers, students, and marketers. No accounts. No paywalls. No “upload your file to our server and cross your fingers.”
Why we built it
Most free tool sites work the same way: you hand over your file, it disappears to someone else’s server, and you get back a result wrapped in five ads, a watermark, and a nudge to create an account. For a quick JSON tidy-up or a photo resize, that is a lot to ask — and a lot of trust to extend for a task your own device could handle in a fraction of a second.
MyDailyKit takes the opposite approach. Almost every tool here is built with client-side code, which means the work happens inside your browser. Your file never travels anywhere. That is not a marketing line — it is simply how the tools are built, and it is why they are fast.
What makes it different
- Private by design. Almost every tool runs 100% in your browser, so your text and files never leave your device.
- Genuinely free. No watermarks, no “sign up to download,” no trial limits.
- Fast and clean. A minimal, mobile-friendly design that gets out of your way.
- Honest about limits. Where a tool depends on your browser or has real trade-offs, we say so on the page instead of overpromising.
How it stays free
MyDailyKit is supported by advertising, which pays for the domain and hosting. We keep ads limited and out of the way — no popups, no interstitials, and nothing that blocks the tool you came to use. You can read exactly how cookies and advertising work here in our privacy policy.
Who writes the guides
Our guides are written and reviewed by the MyDailyKit team, drawing on practical experience building and using these kinds of tools. We aim to explain why something works, not just list steps — and when a topic is genuinely uncertain or debated, we say that rather than inventing false confidence. If you spot an error, we would genuinely like to hear about it.
What’s coming next
This is an early version. More tools are in progress — including AI-assisted text tools, background removal, and video utilities — along with more in-depth guides for getting the most out of each tool.
