    Frequently asked questions

What are the five cron fields?
In order: minute (0–59), hour (0–23), day of month (1–31), month (1–12), and day of week (0–6, where 0 is Sunday). An asterisk (*) means “every” value for that field.
What do */5 and ranges mean?
*/5 means “every 5 units” (e.g. every 5 minutes). You can also use ranges like 1-5, lists like 1,15,30, and combinations like 0-30/10.
Why don’t my day-of-month and day-of-week both apply?
In standard cron, when both day-of-month and day-of-week are restricted, most schedulers run the job when either matches — not both. Use the next-run preview to verify the exact behavior.
Is anything sent to a server?
No. The description and run-time calculations happen entirely in your browser. Your expressions and schedules never leave your device.
